TEREA Black Green

TEREA Black Green is a menthol tobacco stick for IQOS ILUMA that IQOS sums up as “Intense & Frosty”: an intense menthol cooling sensation over a mellow tobacco blend, enhanced by green fruit aromas. IQOS names a frosty pear note as its aroma, which sets it apart from the plainer mint direction of TEREA Green and the peppermint of TEREA Blue. Each carton offered here contains 10 packs of 20 sticks, 200 sticks total. The current stock and ordering details appear in the buy box.

What does TEREA Black Green taste like?

The official description has three parts. Menthol leads: IQOS calls the cooling sensation intense and describes it as strong and cold. Underneath sits a mellow tobacco blend. Green fruit aromas complete the profile, and IQOS points to pear as the specific note, presented as a frosty or refreshing pear.

Official material does not describe a capsule, a click step, berries, citrus or dessert notes for Black Green, so none of those should be expected. Taste perception still varies from person to person; the description is a guide to the intended profile rather than a promise of how every adult user will perceive it.

How cooling and how strong is TEREA Black Green?

IQOS describes the menthol of Black Green with stronger words than it uses for its other menthol sticks: “intense”, “frosty” and, in its own product text, a strong cold menthol sensation. The store therefore lists its cooling as Strong, the top step of its own cooling scale. That step is the store's reading of the official wording, not an IQOS score.

IQOS publishes no numeric intensity, body, aroma or cooling score for Black Green, so the store leaves its strength step unrated rather than guess. The flavor wording also says nothing about nicotine content.

TEREA Black Green vs Green vs Blue

All three combine tobacco with menthol, but IQOS gives each one a different character.

Variant	IQOS tagline	Flavor direction
Black Green	Intense & Frosty	Intense menthol cooling, mellow tobacco, green fruit and a frosty pear note
Green	Balanced & Cooling	Balanced menthol and green mint over lightly toasted tobacco
Blue	Deep & Cooling	Deep menthol and peppermint with a mellow tobacco base

Compared with TEREA Green, Black Green is the colder of the two and adds fruit instead of green mint. Compared with TEREA Blue, it shares the mellow tobacco base and a strong menthol, but its aroma is green fruit and pear rather than peppermint. For another stick that pairs menthol with green fruit, which IQOS calls “Zesty & Fresh”, see TEREA Bright Wave. The wider TEREA menthol and Pearl comparison places these options alongside the rest of the cooling range.

Does TEREA Black Green have a capsule?

No capsule is described. IQOS lists Black Green among its TEREA variants with menthol, while its capsule sticks form a separate group whose instructions start with a click on the stick. Black Green is not in that group and comes with no click instruction.

Why does the carton say “New design, same taste”?

IQOS has been moving TEREA to a new pack design with a new logo and states that the change does not affect the taste. Black Green cartons in the new design carry a “New design same taste” band on the front.

Which devices work with TEREA Black Green?

TEREA Black Green is made for the IQOS ILUMA range, including IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i devices, which heat SMARTCORE sticks by induction. TEREA should not be used with earlier blade-based IQOS generations, and HEETS made for blade devices should not be inserted into ILUMA.

Do not ingest or take a SMARTCORE stick apart. It contains a metal component used by the induction system. The full device-and-stick distinction is covered in which sticks work with IQOS ILUMA.
