Privacy policy
We keep the data an order needs and nothing more. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
What we collect
At checkout: your name, email address and US shipping address, plus the items you ordered and the delivery and payment method you chose. If you create an account: your login details. If you write to us: your message. We do not store card numbers; payments are made through the payment service for the method you chose.
What we use it for
To process, ship and support your orders, and to send you the emails about them: payment details, confirmation, tracking and answers to your questions.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, share it for marketing, or use it for advertising.
Who receives it
Only the services needed to complete an order, and only what each one needs: the delivery carrier gets your name and address; the payment service for your chosen method gets the amount and the order reference; our email provider gets your address and the order emails.
ZIP code lookup
When you type a ZIP code at checkout, the city and state are filled in from a table kept on this site, so your ZIP code is not sent anywhere else. ZIP code data: GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Cookies and browser storage
A session cookie keeps your cart and your login while you browse. Your browser also remembers that you confirmed your age so the prompt does not repeat on every page. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Accounts and security
Accounts are optional. Passkeys and two-factor sign-in are available in your security settings. You can sign out of other devices from there as well.
Public comments
A comment you post under a product is public. It shows your first name and the first letter of your last name (for example “Alex K.”), the date, the pack edition you were looking at and, if you received that product from us, a “Verified buyer” mark. Your email address and full name are never shown.
You can delete a comment at any time, and deleting your account deletes your comments. When our team edits or removes a comment, a copy of the text stays in our internal activity log.
Your choices
Email support@usagetstick.com to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Records of completed orders are kept for as long as accounting rules require.
