TEREA Teak is a tobacco flavor without menthol or a capsule, part of the TEREA range that Philip Morris International makes for IQOS ILUMA devices. IQOS describes a "Rounded, toasted tobacco blend with nutty aromas" and gives it 7 on its 10-point flavor-intensity scale: level with Sienna, a point above Amber and two below Russet. What does the TEREA Teak flavor taste like?

IQOS sums it up as "Rounded & nutty": rounded, toasted tobacco with nutty aromas. Other IQOS copy calls the blend balanced and toasted with creamy and nutty aroma notes, uses the label "Rounded & Creamy", and describes it as matured and warm. We found no IQOS text naming fruit, spice, wood or menthol for Teak.

Our catalog tags it toasted tobacco, creamy and nutty, following the wider IQOS wording. Listings that present Teak as light, herbal or mild fit neither source. This is not a hands-on review; the taste words come from IQOS copy or our catalog.

How intense is TEREA Teak?

Upper-middle on the IQOS scale. IQOS rates it 7 of 10. Of the tobacco flavors IQOS rates, Russet (9), Bronze (8) and Khaki (8) score higher. The IQOS flavor guide, on a 5-point scale, gives Teak intensity 4, body 3 and aroma 4 and speaks of "regular intensity with nutty aroma notes".

IQOS says intensity or descriptions "relate solely to the flavor profile", so none of these figures measures nicotine. Our catalog places Teak on Rich, the third of four flavor-strength steps; that is a house taste grouping, not a conversion, which is why Sienna shares the IQOS 7 yet sits on Bold with us. Does TEREA Teak have menthol or a capsule?

TEREA Teak vs Amber

Amber is the lighter nutty neighbor. The IQOS flavor guide files both in its nutty group with equal body (3) and aroma (4); Teak is a point up on intensity there, 4 against 3, and on the 10-point scale, 7 against 6. IQOS adds light woody notes to the Amber description and cream to Teak's. Amber sits on our Balanced step, one below.

TEREA Teak vs Bronze

IQOS puts Bronze one point higher, 8 against 7. The aromas part ways: our catalog gives Bronze cocoa and dried fruit over a mellow tobacco base, while Teak stays with toasted tobacco, cream and nuts. IQOS tags Bronze "Rich & Warm" beside Teak's "Rounded & Creamy". Bronze is on our Bold step, one above.

Is TEREA Teak the same as HEETS Teak Selection?

IQOS names no TEREA match for HEETS Teak Selection, as it does for Sienna and Amber. HEETS Teak Selection is an IQOS stick for older IQOS generations and does not fit ILUMA. IQOS describes both sticks with the same label and sentence and says in general that TEREA flavors keep the taste of the earlier range, but it never pairs the two by name. Slide a stick into a charged ILUMA-family device; it is heated from its metal core, never lit, and used for one session only. Do not pull sticks apart, as the core is sharp.
